To those of you who have snorkeled with the whale sharks last time or to anyone else who has done a lot of snoreling! Do you recommend a snorkeling vest? I noticed my local dive shop sells various types ranging from $35 to $120. Since I don't snorkel that much I would opt for the cheaper version but wondered if that is even worth it. Thanks. Karen

The boat will give you a vest to wear to help you float while snorkeling...my drysuit worked wonderfully!

SOME cabana boy secrets must remain that way! However knowing this cabana boy as I do...I think he is fine if he keeps his packing as it was and does not worry about the school supplies. I think the rest of us will help to compensate for him in THAT regard!

IMPORTANT UPDATE:

We need a few people to consider upgrading to s/o for the HOLBOX part of the trip. (That is the last 3 nights.)

Please let me know if you would be willing to upgrade to a single room for the last 3 nites. The price is $40 per night s/o fee.

Thank you to those who have volunteered to do a single room the last couple of nights! The rooms are quite small so having the ability to stretch out a bit is VERY NICE. But we keep using these rooms becuase they are the ONLY ONES ON THE ISLAND WITH AC!!!

Hey I still need at least 1 guy and 1 gal to agree to upgrade to single room in Holbox or I will have to turn back 2 rooms in order for the rooming to work and I'll risk never getting a full hotel booking from these vendors again. (We are staying at 2 motels each having 5 rooms per motel so to take all the rooms is scary for the owners.)

Payment of Extras Update:

The following will be sent this afternoon from our accountant summarizing your trip cost, extras, what you've paid and what you still owe. A few of you may have a floating final balance if you've agreed to do a single room in the event your roomie does not show up as early as they hope (for example SharkTracker) !

Please let us know via pm or email if you have questions on your balance and we REALLY want to thank those who have helped us with doing single occupancy in Holbox...we have everyone we need now...at least I think we do!

Thank you all again for bearing with us as we've put so many people on at the last minute and of course we want to ensure we capture all your diving, extra nights and nitrox correctly!

I just got the final numbers regarding your upcoming trip from Kamala and Sandy a few minutes ago. Apparently they had to juggle some things for rooming to work etc. Here is what we show you owe. Please let us know if we’ve miscalculated something or missed something you wanted.
