Sadly I share this heart breaking news with you. Please keep Tom aka TDTexas and his family in your hearts, your thoughts and your prayers.

Tom I am very sorry for your loss...I can not bear the thought of losing my grandmother so I can only imagine how devestated that you are right now. Let us know if you need anything. Kamala

Subject: Sad Day in our Family

As many of you know, my grandma has been under failing health for a while. She passed away this morning in peace. As sad as it is, it was time since life was not fun anymore. Early plans are for a memorial service in Tulsa on Monday & then I will be taking my mom to Washington state for the burial next to my grandpa.

In lieu of flowers, we are asking for a donation to the Tulsa Boys Home under the Loretta Minion fund. Details coming soon.

This is time to remember to enjoy life. Are you with me! Do me a favor & go enjoy life.

Hi Tom,

My guess is you were the apple of your grandmother's eye and brought a lot of joy to her life - in spite of all the mischief you created. :banghead:

I'm glad you're going to be there for your mother, she probably really needs you right now. You are in my prayers.

Tom asked that we all 'live life' and part of that means being part of other's lives. Please reach out to someone you haven't touched in awhile and say you were thinking of them!

I called my grandmother and spoke with her for 30 minutes yesterday. She was thrilled...but not as much as I was to know I had taken time to be with her...even if it was only over the phone!

Thanks everyone! As it is a sad thing, it is also a celebration of life. Enjoy it now while you can. Spending time with the family in Tulsa this week & then off to Yakima, Washington for the burial. We have a Memorial in Tulsa on Monday & a Graveside Burial in Yakima on Thursday.

Sad to say, but it was time. She was in poor health & now my mom get's to have her life back.
