TANK UPDATE:

It looks like I have 2 lp 120's if anyone thinks they need extra air or just wants EXTRA air. Let me know if you want this set of tanks. :thankyou:

I'm up for them!

I wondered if you like them...they are HEAVY but I also know you are pretty strong and you'll have LOTS OF AIR to spare! :cool1:

Just let me know if you are pretty confident you can carry the weight of the tanks...they are steel low pressure 120's and they are yours. Thanks! k

I've been diving with 20lbs of lead for a while now. I think I can take enough lead out to handle them. Sounds great.

Great! The tanks are yours but just for fun do a google search to see how much more a 120 lp weighs than a 100 lp. In the meantime the 120's are yours! kamala

Important Trip Update:

Water Temps:

Hey everyone...as you are packing make sure you bring enough thermals. There has been a cooling trend on the Eastern Seaboard and the bottom is ranging from 75-78 thermocline with the top a very balmy 80-82 degrees.

BUT these are square profiles so the bottom is going to feel chilly to many of us so please be prepared.

A word about renting suits...

1. Renting a suit will cost more than the $25 you'll pay for your second bag on the airlines.
2. The shop we are using has extremely limited wet suits for rent so you'll have to commute to another shop on the neighboring island. This is usually not a big deal UNLESS it is a Holiday Weekend where you can get stuck in traffic on the causeway for over an hour or longer.
