Road Kill? Is that Aramadillo?

Well no. We had some cool guys&gal from some where in Bill Clintons home state, or a little north of there. I got to learn how to cook some "foods" people in most states would not normally eat. But if I ever went up there to dive with them I know I would have to take a bit. But they also said that sometimes folks do not always tell them the CORRECT word for the item they are going to eat. They always say chicken and then tell them after dinner what it really was. I found that some what unfair. But some of this stuff must be good.

You know a number of 'offers' were being made this weekend....something about 'double trouble' and 'long hoses' and other comments related to 'gear'! :cool2:

Yes they certainly 'fit' right in but so did everyone new from the weekend....we truly did have a blast!!! Can't wait for the next one!

They always say chicken and then tell them after dinner what it really was.

Ok ok...so we forgot to tell you what you REALLY ate for dinner.....hmm...let me see....we had beans that were NOT burned and yes I was stirring them contrary to popular believe! We had tater salad...I know not homemade like the beans but still recognizeable! We had bread and assorted chips...that was easy enough and of course we had smoked beef brisket...smoked pork tenderloin...and smoked sausage! No chicken or anything else that resembled chicken! :cool2:

Yeah, yeah, yeah! :cool2:

Believe it or not, Saturday morning, I gave serious thought to coming up for Sunday. I knew the reception I was working would be done by 4:00 and I would be home by 5:00. I figured I could pack my gear and leave by 7:00 which would have put me me in Athens about 11:00pm. I could get in some diving Sunday and drive back Sunday afternoon. However, my better judgement said not to.

Be forewarned, I will be at future events! :teeth:
