Now we can all fly just a bit safer, knowing that the crack team at TSA is on the job.

Many of us have long considered these dangerous, and finally the TSA apparently has agreed.

I've been given extra special 'wanding' because of body jewelry, but never more than that. Several times it was on work trips, wearing my badge! I thought they just wanted an excuse to rub their little stick on my bod!
I can't even imagine having to try to remove the jewelry in an airport - some aren't easy to get off!

When you make fish laugh, they can't bite you.

I knew there was a good reason why I didn't get my nipples pierced. Thanks for reminding me.

Note to self: remove Prince Albert hardware before going through security....
Not sure which part has the most eww factor:
That I know where and what a Prince Albert is;
That you would trip the security sensors when you wear it;
Having to explain it to the TSA people;
Removing it at their behest, while they watch to verify same.

Needless to say this is another example of retarded agency that needs to be destroied because they do nothing that adds to aviation security, but instead makes biggers holes. On other boards there have been comments made that this incident could result in felony charges against the screeners. I think this would be a good thing as it would finally hold TSA accountable for its actions for which to date they havent been.
KHIAI
The real sad part is that on TSAs blog they are say they did nothing wrong and "followed procedure" which makes me wonder when aggrivated assault is in TSA's SOP.
Im gonna stop before i go out of bounds on the TOS.

I was dreading my piercings, but surgical stainless and gold aren't supposed to set it off; and don't ask don't tell
