Hi,
I'm looking at flights from Calgary and there is a lovely direct flight between Calgary and Nassau on WestJet that goes Fridays and Mondays. Then I can take BahamasAir and do an island hop from Nassau to GGT. I'll arrive on Friday the 26th and I think I'll stay on in the Bahamas until Monday Jan 5 to fly home.

I'm looking for suggestions - should I stay on in GeorgeTown or go to Nassau on Saturday and be there until Monday?
Any suggestions on where to stay and what to do?
Anyone interested in joining me for an extra couple of days in the Bahamas?

Definately get inbound to Georgetown as soon as you can. However you might want to explore another part of the Bahamas on your outbound. Hopefully some others will chime in...

Welcome to the Bahamas Trip Tammie! Should I put you down for Nitrox on this trip?

WW - I will absolutely arrive in GGT on Dec 26 - flight arrives at 7:10pm. I'm debating which Island to explore on for the outbound. I haven't booked flights yet to see if anyone else wants to stay the extra couple of days.

ScubaPunk - I take the nitrox course on May 26 -28, so the answer to Nitrox is "probably yes".

I'll need to check with work, but it's looking doable for me again this year.

Ok, not doable for New Years this year... BUT, I was able to work it out for the Sept Dolphin trip instead. So, take me off of this list and I'll sign up for the other instead.
