Woo Hoo! no surcharge!! Thanks for putting the water temp in the last trip report (86) - I'm surprised TS Eouard didn't turn into a hurricane :teeth: with that water temp.

I am getting so excited for this trip. My Hollis halter and wing just came in and it was assembled yesterday. Luckily, I'm teaching at the lake this weekend, so I can test it out before FG. :wakawaka: New gear always puts a smile on my face. :D

Good idea. I'll put it in the first post.

The before get together will be in Freeport at the "On The River" resturant, across the road from the dock. The after get together will be at the Double Tree Hotel at the Airport on JFK Blvd.

Well break out the rum, My PTO got approved so im on the trip. :wakawaka: This will probably be my only vacation this year so i hope its a good one.

just have to finalize everything with the Wench(along with a couple Ideas, along with the money) when she gets back into town

I got my new suit ordered so now its down to getting a tank or making arrangements for a larger one for the trip

TRIP UPDATE:

Hey gang...as is our SD policy even though this trip is not full...we are still going. However I still am responsible for the spots. SO PLEASE SHAKE THE BUSHES AND SEE IF YOU CAN FIND SOMEONE TO JOIN YOU ON THIS TRIP!

I just got off the phone with Norman who is trying to get this docs in and payment etc by tonight as he leaves the country until a few days before this trip. He will arrive 3 or 3:30 at IAH and will need a ride to the boat from our wonderful members. (That was a big part of choosing this trip vs the Cooper River later this month!)

In any event...we will still have 7 spots open :wakawaka: with him and Scubatooth.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help us fill out these last spots! I and my bank account thank you! :teeth:

It will most likely be me, but it all depends on who else signs up on the trip that needs to be picked up. I will group people who arrive around the same time, and assign drivers to each group. So unless I tell you otherwise, you can expect to see my smiling face! :wakawaka:

A little bird told me you have already met 50% of my gene pool. We'll try to make the pre-boarding HH and catch up with you. Are you just there for the drinks, or are you coming diving too?

Your little bird was correct. I did run in to 50% of your gene pool. It was a great surprises.
(Should have known it would happen just wasn't expecting it) We both started laughing once we realized that we sort of already knew each other. :D

No $$ to join you on this trip. I am still trying to sell my house near Seattle.
Paying for 2 places to live really cuts into the $$$ each month.

Not sure if I will make the before event but that is my plan. Have to see how it goes at work that day.
I have been gone a week, who knows what work is piling up on my desk.

I so wish I could make this trip. When I found out that The Spree was moving to Florida, I tried everything I could to get this time off, but other people had beat me to these days. Damn!

I can't belive that the boat is not full. It is not only a great trip, it is an affordable trip.
