Yesterday I went diving in WPB with my Grandson, who is a good little diver.
We were diving the Flower Garden Reef on the dive Solutions boat.
But a terrible storm came, heavy rain, big waves, anyway I lost my camera.
I know the odds of me ever finding it again.
My daughters bought me that camera two Christmas ago and it means a lot to me.
If you could just spread the word about the camera.
I would really appreciate it so very much!
The camera is a ReefMaster 35mm.
Bright yellow with black trim housing and strobe light.
The camera floats so it will go with the tide in and out.
Just maybe it will come to shore.
Thank you all, :cool2:

Julia,

I know how you feel... I dropped my camera in Cabo and Ana rescued it for me... I know that feeling in the pit of your stomach when you look down and realize it is gone.

Anyway, I have a new Sealife Reefmaster 35mm in my closet, I used it on one trip before I went digital. I would be happy to donate it to you, as a way of saying "thanks" to the camera gods for letting Ana find mine...

PM me with your address & I will pack it up... I have the strobe & closeup lens attachments as well.

Jennifer,

I've known this for a long time, but you are an incredibly generous person! I'm honored you are my friend.

Jim,

The code to turn on an action won't work unless you get the code to turn it off correctly. You forgot the / and you have =7 which shouldn't be there. I'll fix it for you, buddy.

Another proof that divers are good people!

My rebreather instructor told me about diving really deep in the Caymans. He said what people call the trench only really goes down 400 feet, the real one is out a little ways. He said that at least where they were, you could not see the bottom because of all the cameras and flashlights stacked on each other.

blue angel- very sorry to hear about your camera (Jennifer, what a nice thing to do). Hope it is recovered and returned.

Two things I do to improve the chance of recovery are to (1) write my name and contact info on the outside of the housing and (2) place one of my business cards inside the housing with tape. So far I've never lost a camera, but it's insurance like my pony bottle.

Jennifer,
I have totally lost controll twice about my camera.
Once when I lost it and now with your kindness of replacing it with yours.
I knew God would give me a camera, I just didn't know it would be through an Angel named Jennifer.
I have not even told two of my daughters about losing it. The youngest one worked so hard and wanted me to have this camera so bad. I knew it would break her heart if she knew.
When my camera is returned, I promise I will donate your camera to someone else that needs one, with your permission.
You have touched my heart so much, you may never know.
God Bless You,
Julia

It will be on its way to you right away, Julia. I had to do something to thank the camera gods (and Ana) for finding my camera underwater last week... and I am sure you will pass on the good will to someone else in the future :cool2:

I am also taking Doc's advice about the ID inside the housing -- what a great idea!

Jennifer,
I saw a movie once called pay forward.
And this is what this is, pay forward.
Ana gave you your camera back.
And you paid forward to me
And I will pay forward to someone else.
Thank you so much, you are a real jewel Sapphine.
And I will never forget what you have done.
And I know we will meet one day :P

Hey I know who your instructor is...he just lectured at our dive club last night. :)

However on a bright note...Jennifer you are awesome. Thank you, -ww :P
