That's right in the middle of my business trip (with play time) to Jacksonville FL. So no go for me. But please don't let your guilt of leaving me out stop you from having some fun. :birthday:

Oh geesh! Another bummer...

Hey all if your looking at Airline Tickets one place I found to be good is Funjet.com, they carry the major airlines and also offer the charter flights which are much cheaper sometimes.

Well from Denver I don't believe there are direct flights to CZM so I would have to fly thru Houston or Dallas so either day probably works. I would think less people would be flying on a Friday since most people would rather do a saturday to saturday trip only taking a week off instead of friday to friday which require 6 days off considering a work week of mon-fri which most people work.

I think there is a direct flight out of denver. When I was there in july, there was a group of denver divers there and I think they said they had one.

We have a charter via apple vacations.

Direct from Denver to Coz is on Apple Vacations charter flight. I've done this and it was fine, much better than trying to fly to Cancun and then get to Playa to take the ferry. United now has a flight but it goes through Chicago, lots of fun in the winter. I'm definitely considering this trip, haven't been to Coz in a couple of years but one of my favorites.

Ok gang...seems EVERYONE wants to utilize the extra day of holiday vacation and here is what air availability looks like:

Looking at January CZM from Dallas to Cozy...there are only 2 seats left for ‘Jan 14-21 priced $299. The January 14-17 has plenty of space and the January 17-21 (4 day) has plenty of space also at $299. Jan 7-14 has plenty of space for $249 but Jan 21-28 has no spots left from Dallas on the charter air.

There is some availabililty on United via Chicago but the rate is $549 and rising.

Can we switch the dates to Jan 7-14 and Jan 8-15 with any 3/4 day combo also allowed?

If not there will only be 2 people on the flight for the week option from Dallas IF I can get the 2 seats available tonight and the rest of the Dallas folks will have to do the 4 day options listed.

Still working on the hotel. -ww

The earlier dates actually work better for me, I might be able to make it for the whole week :diver: Provided I can find a better flight from the West Coast then via Miami or New York :hiya:

I'll look into what I can find as well. Do try Houston or Dallas as Flatwood suggested! -ww

I'm still not sure on flights. I looked on Apple Vacations and they don't have any nonstop flights on Friday or Saturday. There nonstops are during the week so I may have to fly to Dallas or Houston first. Otherwise I'm good for a week.

I'm working on some bulk air from a number of US cities for the new dates. Unfortunately we'll need to plan NOW for next year if we want the holiday in there! -ww

OK... I am confused, which is very easy to do. What dates are we looking at for this trip. I want to go and am flexible on dates. I would probably be looking at the 4 day option and flying out of Dallas will work for me.

Thanks
