Thanks! Great suggestion! A boat coat also helps to restore body core between dives so you can DIVE MORE!!!

well its seems like i made a typo on the PDE forms but thats easily corrected (already is). For those that are doing PDE I need to have those forms asap as i need to start entering those into the system.

Thank you Dan for helping with our DAN research! And for those who do not know what we are doing...here is a recap...

The original diving data used to create dive tables etc. was based upon research on early divers....aka the military. Now DAN (Diver's Alert Network) wants to collect a million profiles of dives based upon REAL DIVERS like you and me. This means people who may have a few extra pounds on them, may have a few health issues and may have a few years on them...oh yeah...and women too since the early divers were predominately men.

So that is what Project Dive Exploration is....its our chance to help DAN understand what REAL DIVERS face when diving and work to revise the dive tables based upon REAL WORLD PROFILES and not just 18 year old Navy Seals!!

The other one that PDE helps in has been several ongoing studies DAN connects which is the Flying after diving study (which is were the 24hr gap between last dive and flying) as well as Diabeties and diving as for the longest time this was something alot of divers hid, but not they dont have to as DAN has a published paper and recommendations on the subject.


If anyone has any questions please feel free to send them my way as I will answer them as best as i can, or i will get you the information from my contacts at DAN from my research internship in 2007 where i collected and inputted this data on a daily basis, and in 2007 of all of the research interns the two from SingleDivers ( Me and GracefulC) collected over 3,000 profiles (i think the total is much higher but i would have to go look) and were the top 2 interns collecting the most profiles.
