I'm in for Grenada, too (maybe even "I'm in for Greneda TWO!").  WW, do you have some rough cost estimates?  Don't need right-of-the-decimal accuracy, just need to know if I need to sell my mom into slavery.

Might have to reconsider, though, given Grenada's support of Japan's whaling industry: http://www.cdnn.info.../jpwhaling.html

You'd let that get in the way of good diving?

If they were selling Mothers into slavery, I might have to think about whether or not to go. But I'd probably still go - with a Doctor's note that I am childless.

About the live-aboard, why you want the best diving at the end? Won't people be rip-roaring to go at the beginning. Not contradicting, just wondering.

St Kitts and Grenada look best to me.

Gerry

Just realized that was way too short.

Got my OWC in July, and went on liveaboard to Bimini 2 weeks ago. Got cut short by Charlie, only got 5 dives in. One was shark dive, pretty cool for a newbie. Great small dive boat out of Ft. Lauderdale, MV Easygoin. Only 4 people on boat. Great food, and 5 dives a day.

Looking forward to my next trip!

:wakawaka: marvelicious, i've been trying to convince someone to take that job offer in florida, but he's afraid that if he takes it i'll be going to dive and not visit him........ well 'cause that would be true. "hey honey, thanks for picking me up at the airport. i've gotta run now. can you put my dive bag in the rental car? thanks. kisses."

It looks great! Just a matter of scheduling. I would be in favor of a northern trip, also. Or, even maybe something to a lesser known spot. I just don't have as much lead time for scheduling as it may take - so, having a way to see open slots a few months out will be imperative. Thanks for putting it together.

St Kitts, Grenada, or Bonaire sound great to me! I actually am interested in all of the trips, but haven't hit the lottery yet!

Bali, Burma, any where in Indonesia would be cool with me, did alot of work there and love it.

I am in for Cali, the rest will depend on shoots and filming schedules. But If I can will be there

Probably save my $$ for fiji/tonga, but grenda sounds cool as well.

I almost held off from responding to this thread because i won't be certified for a few more weeks but these trips are the reason i have the Divin Fever.I'm just psyched about being able to go down without holding my breath( sounds like a line from another thread)... . Bonaire has been on the top of my list since i read about it last year and a coworker said that he makes it an annual trip . Cozumel in December/January sounds good to me. Guess i better start sellin pencils.
