Either Jan in Cozumel or March in St Kitts
Depends on my work schedule
May Grenada... you may want to confirm the viability of this since Grenada got devastated by Hurricane Ivan and may not have recovered by then. I know a ship captain down there and he says all of the marinas and boats have taken major damage. The charters are all moving north to St Vincents or south to Trinidad.

Though it is way too far away to plan I will consider Fiji/Tonga in November. Which week doesn't matter at all.

Yes my dear...it is pretty much crossed off our list and unfortunately a good portion of the Island is crossed off the planet as well. :dltears:I really hate to be crass, but I guess the Grenada trip is called off?
P.S. thanks for the link Capt Saaz

back to the drawing board.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
I have trouble planning far ahead too.. the Christmas break and May/Summer are good for me. At least for the next year.
Maybe Fiji, depending on whether or not I finish up my graduate/ or start my PHD program.
And you can always count me in for any NC dive trips!

There is a wreck just outside the harbor towards Carriacou that I heard is a great wreck dive and wanted to do that besides some reef diving. Can't remember the name of the ship atm.
I'll be keeping tabs on the situation there and hopefully WW can make it a 2006 trip.

I think you are talking about the Biance C....AWESOME WRECK!!! Same class as the Andria Doria but in shallow water. As for a 2006 destination...it will be one of our jaunts AS SOON AS THEY ARE UP AND RUNNING AGAIN! -wwWreckGoddess.. it is a shame. Grenada is a very unspoiled/non touristy kind of island. Once you leave the St George/Grand Anse Beach area t gets very remote looking. I drove around the island one day and found some beautiful spots along the beaches to just hang out. Also found a distillery on a back road that makes the most delicious rum.

Capt Saaz - Definately keep me posted. And I appreciate all the great info so far. I really.. really wanna go!
Also, think you can hook me up with a nice map or the directions.. and maybe a ride back from the distillary? I want to make sure I don't miss any of the important sites!
