Just answered my own question by doing a search on members by number of posts displaying 30 per page. I found 9 full pages and part of the 10th page for a total of 286 divers with 0 posts. Thats over 40% of the members. Lots of lurkers!

Welcome SquattingRadishDM to our crazy clan! Hope you know what you're getting into! Lots of fun, of course.

As for the lurkers, perhaps they are just shy but are enjoying the banter and learning something from it (perhaps how sheep crabs and other marine life mate!). Of course we like to hear from everyone... but in their own sweet time.

Excellent point Doc. We do have a lot of newly certified divers that are trying their best to soak it all up. I am sure they will start asking questions when they have them.

Congrats to SD.com and to all that make this place what it is today and what it will be tomorrow, I want to personally :lmao:

So ... tell him what he's won, Kamala! How about .....

A heated kidney shaped pool,
A microwave oven--don't watch the food cook,
A dyna-gym--i'll personally demonstrate it in the privacy of your own home,
A kingsize Titanic Unsinkable Molly Brown waterbed with polybendum,
A foolproof plan and an airtight alibi,
Real simulated indian jewelry,
A Gucci shoetree,
A year's supply of antibiotics,
A personally autographed picture of Randy Mantooth
And Bob Dylan's new unlisted phone number,
A beautifully restored 3rd Reich swizzle stick,
Rosemary's baby!
A dream date in kneepads with Paul Williams,
A new Matador,
A new mastadon,
A Maverick,
A Mustang,
A Montego,
A Merc Montclair,
A Mark IV,
A Meteor,
A Mercedes,
An MG,
Or a Malibu,
A Mort Moriarty,
A Maserati,
A Mac truck,
A Mazda,
A new Monza,
Or a moped,
A Winnebago--hell, a herd of Winnebagoes ... we're giving 'em away!
Or how about a McCulloch chainsaw,
A Las Vegas wedding,
A Mexican divorce,
A solid gold kama sutra coffee pot,
Or a baby's arm holding an apple?
