Bummer that's not my Schedule B friday off. :cool1:

(Otherwise I'd try and hitch a ride with punky...)

No wait! That's a saturday! :thankyou:

Anyone from Houston interested in carpooling? (sandy?)

I'm heading up on Friday. You and Scubachick43 should car pool together.

Teresa, I hope you can make it! That would give us a chance to get to know each other a bit before our

FIJI FIJI FIJI trip

Let me know when you're sure you'll make the drive, & I'll add you to the first post!

I wish I could attend this event, but I won't be able to go :lmao: . My son has a District Pinewood Derby event with Cub Scouts, and it will be an exhausting day, even if I could hitch a ride with Carolyn (scubachick43) and Teresa (Mermaid Lady) that evening. Yall will just have to survive w/o me.

Hey Bubski! Hot sauce, whether Tabasco, Louisiana Hot Sauce, or Franks Hot Sauce, are all very appreciated because they can dash it on everything from breakfast eggs to MRE mac & cheez. Small bottles are best, in quantity so that multiple peeps can carry their own with them on patrol. Makes MREs more, well, tasty!

Also, look here for the full discussion on what's good to send.

I'm lookin' forward to meetin' ya! Thank you for remembering goodies for the troops!!!

I haven't breathed off scuba since October, and the new drysuit is demanding to be let out of the closet, so I'll be at Terrell in the AM (about 9 or 10).

Jeff at Divers Training Center said we could use their pavilion/dock/platform if we wanted to. It's on the right after you go through the gate, about 200 yards, and built of polished wood logs.

Weather's supposed to be chilly in the AM, but we'll see.

The water's at 48 degrees and 20 foot viz (Jeff was out there with some people week before last).
I'm growing older but not up,
My metabolic rate is pleasantly stuck.
Let those winds of time blow over my head,
I'd rather die while I'm living than live while I'm dead.

Yikes!!! :cool1: I was toying with the idea of meeting y'all out there to dive, but I think I want warmer conditions for my first step back into diving... I need to refresh my skills, not fumble along in the fetal position! :glare: Y'all have fun though! :thankyou: I guess I'll just be seein' y'all at Cadillac Ranch. :glare:

LOL reminds me of my beginner diving days at Cape Ann. I'd have to dig out my old 6mm suit and get a whole lot of extra weight.
