Yeah, Matt and I were being respectful of the group who decided to have dinner all together right when we showed up. We were under the impression it was a happy hour, not a "sit down" meal when we showed up at 7pm. This "respect" to me includes not smoking, drinking, and staring at a bunch of people trying to eat a full-on meal whilst I gaulk. We would have been happy to join everyone for the meal had we known it was going to be that way. I apologize if this comes off as being "not part of the group" but to me, it is more of a manners thing and has nothing to do with being shy, rude, or avoiding any particular subject matter or person.

Alas, I still have a job, damnit!
