Bet they have a blast. Looks like Bonnie & Clyde - er, Charley are both gonna' skirt them, but not hit them too badly...

http://www.crownweat...m/tropical.html

Looks like they'll get from RDU airport to the coast before Bonnie blows thru tonight, and be in good position for Chuck when he blows thru tomorrow - pulled along by his girlfriend. {I've had relationsdhips like that.} :angel2:

Could be some wild stories to tell when they get back. :usflag:

Caca is going to happen at times. Florida got hit hard - especially north of Tampa. I was there less than a month ago, when a local boat skipper told me, "We never get hurricanes here." :teeth: Never say never.

And boat trips get blown out. I called Billy at the hotel we usually stay at a couple of hours ago, and he said they had everything tied down well. Hope all stay safe.

Actually, South of Tampa was hardest hit. The storm went in at Punta Gorda. My understanding is, a lot of people in mobile homes did not evacuate. There were fatalities. Not good. What were they thinking? This was a cat 4 storm. Nothing to mess with. I drove from Virginia to Brunswick where I spent the night. I didn't even get much more than a drizzle, but I had my weather service (Donna) on the line to tell me where to stop for the night. I'm in Sebastian, FL until tomorrow afternoon and then I'm headed to Delray Beach. See you guys next Friday, unless I see marvel earlier. I'm staying with MB and Jo (different board).

I just looked at this cool site for hurricanes...

http://www.crownweat...m/tropical.html

Looks like Chuckey is winding down.

And it looks like Tropical Storm Danielle, next on the list, is gonna' veer off.

But TS Earl is currently following Charley's route. Best wishes to Cuba, Jamaca, Caymans, and - who knows where it'll be in a week? :teeth:

You might want to watch that site. They suffered damage from the last flood there. :-D
