NOTE: Since Paul is not doing the pkg with us we need one male volunteer to do a s/o room for the land pkg. That will be $1025 vs the Quito only pkg @ $900 s/o.

there is some discrepency in the land based program as listed in the above. I paid originally $780 for the land based option when I sent in my total payment. you have me listed as not going. the letter from the accounting department has me going.my last correspondence on this issue had me going. perhaps you can correct the problem? am I not going and my $780 will be refunded or am I going and need remit $`125 more. Please let me know asap as I am leaving for ecuador in 9 days.

I'm sorry...I thought I fixed that...it is Stuart that is not going with us. I will fix the post in the thread to reflect the pm sent out to everyone which was correct.

Please forgive me Paul. Also I sent you the following message via email but I realize what your real concern was...my using your name vs Stuart's in the post but not in the pm/email that was sent out to everyone.

So my message should still be accurate and we are fixing the first post to show Stuart not joining us and you definately joining us!

Hi Paul this is Kamala. I am sorry that we have confused you on the land pkgs. The original pkg was 3 days + local airfare in Quito so we would not miss the boat. A couple of weeks ago we got the chance to add doing part of the land pkg in Galapagos proper which is what the $125 add-on to the $780 is about. We did not see a definitive reply from you (the thread said you could go either way) and we would like you to do the Galapagos portion of the land pkg vs staying in Quito since most of the group if not all of it will be doing the new add-on.

I hope this is clearer to you. So if you want to chg the Quito only land pkg to include this new Galapagos add-on you only need to add $125 more to what you have paid as I believe that you are paid in full so far for the trip and the original $780 land pkg.

Although we run a lot of dive trips a year...we are still essentially a dive club on steroids so rely on volunteers to help make it all work including our trip coordinators that keep the threads up to date and even my accountant doesn't charge for all the hours she works for us. And the organization just makes enough to pay its own bills so I have a day job as well.

Please let us know if this now makes more sense and I am looking forward to meeting you in a few weeks! Kamala

We have it! I just forgot to add it to the list that Sandy posts! You are good to go! And Sandy will update the first post when she can pop on next. I'm getting ready for the DC tradeshow so have to pack and then leave for my flight in a few hours.

We still have a spot open on this trip for a girl. One of our members broke her leg in multiple places and will not be healed in time to travel.
