If we work the SD booth, do we need to buy a general admission ticket? If yes, does SD have half price coupons?

SD has tickets for those working the booth. Do you want to sign up for booth duty?

Thanks Kim, smart thinking. I would hate to have to drive up there, but will do if necessary.

Ok. So does that mean you will not make it to HH on Friday?

I plan to attend the Happy Hour Friday. I could possibly help with the show that day, if needed.

Ok, I will put you down for the HH. Now about this "possibly help with the show" business.... I feel like you should maybe make a firm commitment between say 6:00 to 7:00 pm on Friday. :wakawaka:

OK. Will do!

I think I did sign up!

It's snowing in Dallas as I write this, with a steady stream of nice, big flakes drifting down past my window.

I have no idea how this is going to affect the TDS tomorrow and Saturday. If you are travelling to the DFW area, make sure that you can find out about current conditions--would like to see everyone arrive safely for the HH!!

I'm flying of course...and I'm checking with our own super duper fingrabber who has TONS of airline experience as to the best possible courses of action...including trying to go standby on the 6am flight so I have all day to be late vs my 1pm arrival that only gives me a few hours to be late and still get the booth set up. Of course that is assuming we'll have people showing up...it is opening ceremonies for the Olympics and after work on roads that are not conducive to driving. My guess is Friday will be dead and most people will come on Sat if they come at all.

And yes we will get anyone into the show that works for the booth...up to about 10 or so PER DAY and even then I'm sure I can get a few more so no worries! I also have 1/2 price tickets so you are good to go! kamala

For those doing the HH...we'll need someone to go and get a table for us BEFORE the show ends. In fact a reservation would be good for a party of say at least 10 so we have some designated seating. We'll get a TON more people join us at the show! :wakawaka:

I just spoke to one of our pilots from work (who is also a airline pilot). Right now DFW is experiencing some delays for departing flights (~30-60 mins for deicing). Inbound flights arent experincing delays right now, but as the visibility drops they will have to slow down the number of landings per hour.

Roads right now arent to bad because its slush right now, but tomorrow is looking like a completely different ballgame as the slush could freeze over.

WW call me in the morning and if i need to go out to the ES in frisco to check things out.
