It's been way too long since I've seen most of you and there are so many new people to meet. I hope to attend the HH and the show, but... unfortunately I am unable to make any guarantees. Mom started chemo last month so it really depends a lot on her schedule and how well she tolerates the treatment. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Maybe Platy or Cap'n Jack will give me a call to remind me a little closer to the date???



Sweetie it would be great to see you again and of course we'll keep your mom in our prayers. Platy also needs our prayers due to his diving accident so not sure he'll be able to be a good reminder. But I'm sure someone will help out...they always do! kamala

WW huh what happened to platy? Is there some slack i need to pick up?

Im scheduled to work on the 13th but i think i can do a switch pretty easy so i can attend both days.

Well the Dive Show and HH are just a little over a month away and I hope that everyone posting in this thread gets to go and of course the people that are just veiwing this thread make plans to come, it sounds like its going to be a real Hoot :cool1:

speaking of the HH where are we going to have it? as were very close to stonebriar mall there are several options, -- california pizza kitchen, cheesecake factory, Dave & Busters. any prefrences?

How likely are these to be really busy on Saturday night after the show since it's Valentines day weekend? Pizza sounds good and there is a Hooters near by too

StoneBriar Center is supposed to be a "short walk away" and has the suggestions Dan listed earlier

the mall is about 2-300 yds from the embassy suites. Hooters on the other hand is about a mile and if its as cold as it is now next month I will be walking

This place is between the Embassy Suites and the Mall, right next to the baseball park. I usually park next to it when attending the baseball games down in Frisco...
