I didn't see the Napolean Wrasse in the competition any more. Was it pulled?

Rick

Finally heard back from aqualung.

this was there reply

Dear Mr. XXXXXX

Thank you for your email expressing your concern about the image of the
divers holding the Napolean wrasse fish. We agree and share your
concern.

We have discussed the situation with the contest entrant and he also was
concerned and mutually agreed to have the image removed.

Aqua Lung does pride itself on being good stewards of the ocean and its
inhabitants. We have now put several new restrictions in the contest
rules to prevent this from happening again.

Again, thank you for bringing it to our attention.

The Marketing Department,

Aqua Lung America

No she didn't a guy on the second page beat her. It seems like the wrasse harasser is back this month and kicking her butt.

Is it me or is that guy in the first photo showing him tied in to the reef with a reef hook? If so then this is two months in a row this guy has submitted photos showing behaviors that aren't kosher in my book. Come on aqua lung did you not learn last month?

They are all using reef hooks which by the way is what is keeping him in position...not the fins. Guess they need another email :thankyou:

Too bad she didn't win last month. She made a couple of people mad on another board spamming them with multiple posts to vote so they were actively voting for the second person so she wouldn't win.

...Malena...
p.s. you can vote for her as many times as you like...

Commence Operation Mermaid; I can vote for this short movie! It's fun. I'd rather meet a mermaid behind me than the Kraken in front of me! Mermaids don't wanna sink your boat.

"Take me to your mermaids."

I'm out here click'n, because that short film is excellent!
(Did they have to story board it? Who did the edits?)

I'm like Sylvester when it comes to mermaids on the boat.

Good Luck Malena.

She gets my vote! Awesome video!!

Did you vote for the SD Mermaid again today? http://www.aqualung....on/18/339/10/0/

Her video is now way behind. It's all my fault because I couldn't go online a couple of days last week. We'll ALL have to vote to catch up. Nothing beats this fun underwater movie! Everybody click to vote and pass the word. (The competition has like, um, 10 times more votes now -- that's gotta change!)

well the person in the lead needs to be DQ yet again(last month was removed after it showed him holding on to a Neapolitan wrasse) because the photo there showing doesnt match the caption because hes not swimming hes hooked into the reef which is something i absolutely disapprove of because of the damage it does to the reef. I have written several emails to aqualung about this person and there responses have been turning a blind eye so it just means that they dont care as they would rather sell a product then protect reefs that take millions of years to build but yet minutes to destroy.
