....when you pull aside the O2 mask to gasp and ask the doctor who is trying to save your life "This won't stop me from scuba diving will it?"

The hotter, the muggier, the humider, the more still the hot air, the hotter the sun, the more you are sunburned, the more you crave your second favorite physical activity !

Wait a minute!!! You mean that diving is only second!!!

You know you're a dive junkie when...You measure the success of a vacation by how many times you, compressed air, and water were together.

..You calculate your SAC rate from your FIRST favorite physical activity...so it can be properly recorded in the log book entry.

...when you get very miffed that the leg press in your gym is broken
...your friends no longer ask where you are going on holiday, they simply say "You're going diving again?"
...when most of your favorite websites are scuba related
...when you have a bucket list of dive locations and are making good progress ticking them off!

...when you find nothing wrong with driving 3 hours both ways to get to LOCAL dive sites :o
...when you never need to wet your BC tank strap because it never dries out
...when you have more fins in your closet than work shoes (a dive girl has to accessorize!)

LOL.

~ You JUST get back from a dive trip and start planning your next dive trip even THOUGH you are now very broke!
~ Every non diver on your trip gave you HELL about the size of your luggage and even more Hell when they found out it was your DIVE BAG!
~ You just made some new dive friends on your trip that you've never met before and they treated you like you were family and exchanged emails and phone numbers.
~ When you get home you get on this website! LOL!

When your boss calls during your summer break, asks a work related question then asks if you've gone on a dive trip yet.

GGRRRRR you get so mad that your pictures of stupid eels, starfish, lobsters and sea lions didn't turn out very good! AND you are thinking about getting a more expensive UNDERWATER CAMERA that you don't really need to spend money on! :teeth:

How about when you are looking for a new digital camera and are frustrated that they don't make underwater housings for any of them, or any plans to do so in the near future?

Nikon Coolpix LS100 anyone?

... or the Gulf of Oman, and are quite prepared to drive 6 hours to get there with air temperatures around 45C (113F?), and water temperatures of 30C (83F?) and a bum of an ex on the same boat. But it was so worth it.....
