I like 4-3-1-2. #1 would be different if the background was blue and the fish colorful. But then that is from a cold water diver where our fish blend in to the background. LOL
How about "Diving's Better With Buddies" or
"Friends Don't Let Friends Dive Alone" or
"Friends are Friends, but Buddies Dive Together"
Maybe after some alcoholic inspiration I can come up with some more.

Being a life-long fan of Henri Matisse, I have always liked the original logo best...it has a Matisse-like feel to it.
As for the options for a new logo, my preferences are 3, 4, 2, and last 1. As nearly all SD trips are to beautiful places with crystal blue waters, it just doesn't feel right to have a funky white and yellow background for the logo.
Regarding the slogan, I like "Why dive alone?" or "Don't dive alone!" in no particular order.

I like the artwork by Rogest. I especially like the placement of the fish and the water movement. I also like the colors.
Number 1 has a spelling error in it…SingleDiver.com instead of SingleDivers.com…I’m not fond of the red of the SingleDivers.com words in combination with the other colors. I like the design of the fish and water but not the yellow color.
Number 2 is okay. I like the oval shape better and the red frame isn’t my choice but it is okay overall. The dot in .com kind of gets lost…if it’s there.
Number 3 is okay too, I think I like the look of the fish created with dots with the water created with dots rather than mixing the old style with the new style of artwork.

I like #4 best but like the font on the original better than the font on #4.
#1 is just plain ugly to me
plus has the spelling error like Heidi said.
I wouldn't change the "Why dive alone" since to me changing the logo is enough of a change all at once.

it's simple and exactly what this site is all about - why dive alone if you don't have to? I think it's more inviting and inclusive than exclusive
