There is No Joy In Gainesville

I am deep morning this morning. My beloved Florida Gators were kicked in the teeth (from 50 yards out no less) by Phat Phil and the Tennessee Volunteers. I am not going to complain though. We played a really good game and it was definitely an exciting game even though we came up short.
So now the question is, who's your team? Show your colors and let me know who you're pulling for.

MV, are you a Lobo? By the way, I just started the shot clock to see how long it takes TF to play the "Loco" card.
I love college football, but I'm not feeling the love on this thread. Keep in mind, that we got beat last night. I need some TLC right now. Where's the love?

I've been to Baton Rouge a ton on business, but never made it to a game there. I was an Ivar's "regular" when I was there. Ivar's -- Where the beautiful people come to get ugly.

No fan of the 'Horns or the Ags here in this Texas/Bama girl! My blood runs Green and Gold! Sic 'em, Bears!!Surely in the 14,000 Texas divers in this forum there has to be a Longhorn or Aggie fan?
I feel your pain! Baylor almost never wins, but I love 'em anyways. And I always pull for Auburn to lose, too. I guess something stuck with me from my first five years of life on this planet in Huntsville, even if my accent has worn off!I love college football, but I'm not feeling the love on this thread. Keep in mind, that we got beat last night. I need some TLC right now. Where's the love?

I imagine you are really bummed losing to Tennessee considering that you owned them for years. I don't think Peyton Manning ever won against Florida.I am deep morning this morning. Well, I guess most Texas D-1A college football fans will be happy today. Let's see ...
Texas and Baylor did not play;
Texas A&M won 27-6 over Clemson;
Rice won 41-29 over Hawaii;
Houston won 35-21 over Army;
Texas Tech won 70-35 over Texas Christian (TCU), the Raiders trailed in that game at one point by 21-0.
Those who are bummed ....
The afore-mentioned Texas Christian;
Southern Methodist (SMU), losing 59-7 to Oklahoma State;
Texas-El Paso (UTEP) losing 47-31 to Boise State.
Myself, I do not have a college affilation even though I did attend UH (Houston) for one year and worked at Rice for twelve.
This Thursday will be an interesting college game here in Houston when the Miami Hurricanes come to town to play UH at Reliant Stadium. Frankly, if UH does not play any better than they have in their three games, this one could get really ugly real fast.

Well, I am not one of them but I imagine with nearly 100,000 alums of both UT and A&M combined in the Houston-area alone, surely there is some T-Sips and Aggies among us.Hmmm, so nobody (other than Marvelicious the Gator) wants to tell me what you college football team of choice is. Surely in the 14,000 Texas divers in this forum there has to be a Longhorn or Aggie fan?

As for needing the love, I don't think that for a Gator, losing to Tennesse would be near as bad as losing to Florida State. But I might be wrong ...
BTW, there are sizable contigients of Florida and Florida State alums in the Houston area. Why? Because I see them at the sports bars every Saturday! Them and Ohio State and Michigan and Nebraska and Alabama and ....
