I rang it in by getting LOTS of extra sleep (and wishing I were on a diving trip!). It was and is continuing to be a time for my body to heal from surgery. Thanks to those who have sent good thoughts to me!

Spent a quiet evening at home watching the festivities on t.v. Decided to make a midnight snack, ended up burning myself and received a half-dollar sized mark from the oven. Next snack time I think I'll just grab an apple.

Danced the night away at the Reefs Resort on the south shore. Was having a great laugh with a lady and her husband near the bar until someone told me it was the Premier.

Moving in lofty circles and not even realizing it. LOL

Celebrated New Year's in cyberspace on East Coast time with my sweetie in Tennessee, then fell asleep reading before the clock struck midnight here on the West Coast.

My family (me, my husband (Mark) and my 12 yr old son) celebrated when it was midnight in the East cost. Mark went to sleep, as he had to wake up early for his first bicycle ride in preparation for the MS150 (which rides from Houston to Austin). So, midnight happened an hour later and my son and I celebrated the year (again). Mark and I both got up at 7am. He rode 45 miles and I went back to bed as soon as he left the house. :teeth:
