MY SINCEREST APOLOGIES....
My sincerest apologies go out to Ellen. She did not see the board message until after she was at the airport. She had not boarded the plane but had checked her bags on the plane. They did not advise her that the airports are closing in Mexico.
To prevent this again we will ask everyone to acknowledge back that they have gotten the word and call anyone who has not acknowledged back.
Ellen please forgive me. After posting the trip was canceled I started working on funeral arrangements for my family. Its all been a blur but I am deeply sorry for not making sure that everyone got the word. I am so thankful that you called me this morning after logging on. Kamala

Yes I'm back..I'll post the full adventure when I get a chance.. They notified us at 1pm on Tuesday that we had to leave Casa Del Mar asap, and just got home 34 hours later.

I was also in CZM for the past 11 days. I flew back early (yesterday) based on the incoming weather. The harbor was closed, and most boats were being pulled out of the water. The locals are great, and just deal with the weather.

I am SO sorry that the Cozy trip was cancelled, but glad all of you are safe!!!
Johanne is shifting over to the Bonaire trip in March, and there is plenty of room on that trip for more of you!
And since that is a Single's Week too, your Cozy costume will not go to waste! Our Bonaire contest laughter can be heard all the way in town, they say.
And due to several unfortunate incidents, there a couple of spots available on the Roatan trip, if you prefer to get wet sooner. Check out the two trips and let one of us know if you're interested.

In case anyone is wondering what the weather is like in Cozumel, the following is an email I received a few hours ago from a friend who lives there. We are fortunate to be safe and dry.

almost over us...60mph winds with higher gusts. actually closed my newly installed storm curtains! only a couple of known leaks. so far so good. hope first floor doesn't flood.
obviously with electricity still. my street is completely flooded. an hour ago it was about 8 inches underwater. ugh.
slow moving bitch this rina. we have another 6 hours ahead of us and she might come back to make another visit over the weekend as she is going to loop back after getting to cancun.
