Hi Everyone
I am making my return to the Great Canadian North as slow as possible.
Made it as far as Miami - home tomorrow.
Just wanted to say how great it was to meet all the new people and reconnecting with everyone else -

CORNER GAS - too funny. I actually never watched the show until the trip. It was hilarious. Sad but true. Saskatchewan really is like that!!!!!!!!!!

I am at the airport now so can't put the return off any longer. Fortunately Alberta is a tad more sophisticated than Saskatchewan.

Thank you gang for an amazing week and an amazing trip. And we kept getting these HORRIBLE SNOW AND ICE REPORTS FROM ALL OVER THE PLACE so we were feeling pretty good about our 82 degree weather and 80 degree water temps and NO RAIN!!!!

Oh my Kamala....I felt like was under house arrest here in DFW for FOUR DAYS!!! There was so much ice on the roads driving was just not possible, and all the "extra" snow support was diverted to make sure peeps could get to the Super Bowl week events. Boy oh boy, I've seen a lot of winter in my life, having grown up in New England, but I've never been house bound for so long because of a winter storm! I even had some issues with frozen water lines into my fridge and washer!
Poor North Texas is so ill-equipped to deal with this kind of extended cold snap and winter precip that won't go away on its own. We got a couple days reprieve but if you can believe it we're in for it again tonight!!!

Given how nasty the week was locally, sure was wishing I had been on this trip Looking forward to some pictures soon!

Hi everyone. I uploaded some of my pics to the gallery. I saved everyone from looking at ALL of my soft sponge photos. I guess just like sea urchins in NC, they move at a speed that match my photography skills.

Great shots Clint and Butch. I loved the moray in the sponge. I bet you were happy to see how well that turned out. That was a really nice sunset pic that you took Butch. Thank you both for sharing.

I also want to thank everyone for a great trip. I have seen better diving but the group was second to none.

The bad part is coming home to all the snow we got 18” last week and another 6” – 8” today.

I will try to look at my pics and see if there is anything worth uploading.
