The resort manager and staff personally saw to getting Mandy's bags back so she made orientation AND has has a great week diving! And special thanks to Mandy, Carla, Sandy and Jeff for helping us out by agreeing to be on a separate boat.
The group was too big for one boat and we had to split the group and they were very kind to let us break them off and dive with the folks who did not have a group this week in Bonaire. (They've had some interesting stories so far...) BUT we've ALL had some amazing diving so far.
Today was our date with the Hooker...several people had done it the day before as a shoredive but her allure was so intense they went back with the group! All of our divers dove her flawlessly and had a great time. It seemed like the dive just flew by and we had one diver JoCanuck who did her deepest dive todate... 95ft on Hilma! (I promised her we'd get her to 100 before the trip was over with!)
We've had a number of dive milestones in addition to deepest dive by Jo. Tammy and Carla BOTH celebrated their 250th dive this trip. Phillpe celebrated his 50th dive this week and several more milestones are coming up so we'll keep you posted.
By the way the water is 80 and the air is 84-85... BEAUTIFUL!!!
I'm having a great trip playing with our newest addition to the SD Merchandise Arena.... Light & Motion's new video, dive light and photo lights. Yep all 3 in one SUPER LIGHT & COMPACT packing. They ROCK!!! I have "SEEN" more of the reef than I have ever seen by using the light as a day time dive light. It lit up the entire wreck by using it as a dive light inside the hold of the hooker and on night dives. It has taken my simple camera and turned it into a professional camera just by adding light to my video and pictures. Its the perfect starter light that will grow with you as you abilities grow. Today it can be your video light, dive light and light up the subject you are taking a picture of. Tomorrow it will grow with you and become your focus light (it has 3 intensities of red spotting light for night dives that won't spook the fish or burn color into your photos), it can be paired with another light to be backup lights for serious/professional photographers and it takes the cake as a video light NOW.
Its a perfect travel light with NUMEROUS functions so saving TONS of weight in your luggage and has LOTS OF LUMENS... 500 or 600 or 1200!!!
