When I saw her recently I had no idea she had eye trouble. Do give her my very best wishes for a complete and speedy recovery.

Still waiting...patient 2 ahead of us has had complicstions so delayed at least another hour on the already 3.5 hr process it normally is.
Just waiting and trying to keep my mom relaxed until her turn.

Quick update...
Got her home and so far so good. A few side effects kicking in but nothing too serious. FINALLY got her to just sit down and relax and get warm and she fell asleep!
Sleep is the body's ONLY way of healing so I am very glad she is able to rest and get some sleep.
Now its off to the bank for me and post office so will be back online this evening as I will have dinner duty, clean up etc. Basically she needs 24hr supervision for the next 2 days but a few hours out and about should be ok.
I'll keep you all updated. Thank you, kamala

Relieved and elated with the latest news, Kamala for taking time from an obviously full plate to keep us apprised. Our prayers for complete recovery continue, and with such a caring and attentive daughter on duty we're certainly optimistic!

Thank you Brad and Heidi...
Getting ready to take her out for the patch removal, post operative inspection and starting the medication rounds.
I had no idea this was so intensive but I'm glad I could do it for her. My sister and her family would have been in a terrible bind basically losing all day yesterday. They have already taken her in for several doctor's opinions over the past couple of weeks.
Hopefully today I can get back to work...
