Margaret we'll have to see what the members say. The reason we don't have anyone under 18 is of course due to the fact that our members are all adults (at least chronologically) and we do not want to worry about our adult conversations or actions in front of kids.
I have thought of offering a kid friendly trip for our members who do have kids. Perhaps this might be the chance to try this new trip option?
Is your son a diver? Or would he be a non-diver and just do the whalesharks since that is a snorkel experience?

Totally understand (and agree) WW! Yes, my son is a Jr. Advanced Open Water diver thru PADI. ...still working our Spring Break options and 2011 summer dive trip so he can gain more experience. Thnx, M

Is it possible to do the trip as a non-diver and snorkel with whaleharks? Family member would love to swim with whalesharks but doesn't dive.

The whalesharks are snorkle only trip but the town of Holbox is great. Cozy and the Cenote is diving.

Each wreck has a tale to tell about its life and its demise.

If you are observant while diving in dark places listen to the account each has to tell, You cannot come away unaffected.

Yes, I know the whalesharks are a snorkelling endeavor, but can a non-diver book the trip?

Non-Diver Pricing: $1008 d/o includes unlimited shore snorkeling in Cozy, Cenotes and the 2 days with the whalesharks. This was from the 2010 trip, price may differ. .

YUP!!!

Non divers can join the trip and are most welcome! They can snorkel or just relax on the beach in Cozy, see the cenotes (well at least part of them) and of course we will all snorkel with the whalesharks.

Again not sure what the price will be but will try to hold it as close to 2010 as possible.

Now that we are in a place from this century (Holbox) I am very interested.
