The venue will be changed to Turks and Caicos and we'll have it open for booking as soon as we change the details. The dates are firm and you will still fly in and out of Provo airport code PLS.
NOTE: Would the people interested in this trip pls respond to a pm going out shortly as well as in this thread or in THIS thread on SD or in our topic on it on facebook as to whether we should change the venue to T&C for $100 a head less per person on all room types before SD booking discounts or leave it as Mayaguana since that destination is so rare??

for an all inclusive INCLUDING alcohol and sodas Mayaguana...What Diving Used to Be! Sept 1-8, 2012. Scheduling 5 dives daily, including night dives, the vessel boards in Providenciales Turks & Caicos airport code PLS on Saturday and offers 5 days of diving for the week. Mayaguana is the easternmost island in the Bahamas, or about 350 miles southeast of Nassau and 40 nautical miles from PLS. The island has only 300 inhabitants and miles and miles of pristine reef that has not been explored other than a few trips last year when Nekton started developing this itinerary. This is WALL DIVING on STEROIDS!! - And they start at 60-70feet so a perfect venue for Nitrox to maximize bottom time!

Divers feel as it they are one of the first undersea explorers to see this pristine undersea world and in many cases they very well may be. With only a handful of established sites...you could be diving on completely virgin reefs. With no formal dive operations on the island, a liveaboard is the ONLY way to dive this amazing destination.

For the few divers that have dove this amazing island...they have seen Nurse sharks, Caribbean reef sharks, nurmerous rays, spotted eagle rays, jacks, grouper, turtles and numerous species of fish. With Turks and Caicos so close we expect to also see blacktips, tiger sharks, hammerheads, and manta rays. This will be wall diving filled with huge gorgonian fans, barrel sponges, hard-coral arches and macro life. Perhaps the most fun aspect is that the marine life is just as curious about us as we are them!
