Hey gang...its official! RING IN THE NEW YEAR DIVING IN BEAUTIFUL BELIZE!!!



We'll be doing New Year's Eve Dec 26-Jan 2nd with Reef Adventures staying at the Blue Tang hotel with overflow to the condos next door. This set up puts us a few minutes from town...right next door to the diveshop and includes breakfast at BlueTang ...even for those staying in the condos. All rooms will have a refrigerator and kitchenette.



The price will be $1250 d/o for:

• 7 nites hotel
• 5 days of 3 tank dives (If doing Blue Hole etc. you can add to your pkg dives for $250 per person. We'll also have the price of adding extra dives on the last day.)
• Breakfast daily
• Transfers from San Pedro Airport to hotel and back
• Minutes from town and all New Year's Festivities.
• One evening of festivities still being worked out
• Daily Happy Hours and more...

Single Occupancy: Currently $1965 (working on a 2 bedroom 1 bath condo which would be at least $200-$300 less for the s/o. BUT you'd have a shared bathroom and common areas but private bedrooms.

So plan to join us! I will get the full trip details up as soon as I can. I am leading a trip but wanted to officially announce this trip is OPEN and where we are going too.

CAVEATS:

• *Currently we have 8 12 guaranteed spots for Dec 26-Jan2. (please let me know if you plan to arrive early AS SOON AS YOU CAN so I can get you extra days either before or after)
  
• As usual we'll book your local flights for you which will be approx. $128-130 round trip from Belize International (BZE) to Ambergris Caye aka San Pedro.
• Extra night without diving $93 d/o or $186 s/o (special rate for add-on to pkg only)
• Nitrox: $10 per tank or $10x15=$150 pkg price.
• Blue Hole: $250 per person includes taxes, park fee, fuel surchgs etc.. If we get 11 people the price will be $225 and we'll refund that to your account or put it towards your dive tips.

So I will begin to accept sign ups from PREMIERS...they get a 7 day advance booking and access to our EARLY BOOKING SPECIALS!!! On this trip it will be $50 for payment in full beginning July 26-Aug 3rd - 8 days vs the normal 7 days.

1. Why does this trip look different than the other ones you've posted? I mean it's shorter, there are no pictures and all the 'fine print' as you call it?

A. Our initial provider has sold the hotel and the new owners are most likely going to tear down the resort. We've been in contact thanks to one of our awesome members peterbj7 with several other resorts and dive operators in Ambergris Caye, Belize to set up a trip in a matter of days. We have changed the booking template twice now and I'm now working on my third revision while simultaneously leading a dive trip. So we opted to OPEN it to our premiers who for the most part have been on other trips and know the regular routine and who are comfortable signing up for a trip without our REGULAR amount of detail, pictures, etc.

2. I am a Premier but I'm new to the site? I'm nervous about signing up until you have all the details available?

A. That is normal and we are hoping to have the full trip template up and ready very shortly so we can remedy that problem. Since most of the members wishing to go are repeat divers...they are more comfortable signing up with only the basic trip details.

SPECIFIC TRIP UPDATES (CHECK HERE OFTEN TO AVOID READING THE ENTIRE THREAD):

1. 7-26-11: This trip is basically open for booking by our premier members. I am now reworking the booking template the 3rd time so will give our premiers 8 days vs the normal 7 to secure a spot on the trip. If you do not take advantage of the early booking special the deposit needed is $500 since spots are limited. The trip must be paid in full by Nov 3rd which is 50 days out. All those on the notify list have been sent a pm except for the following basic members who I can not send a pm too:

Nitrox: $10 per tank or $10x15=$150 pkg price.

SingleOccupancy: Currently $1965 (working on a 2 bedroom 1 bath condo which would be at least $200-$300 less for the s/o. BUT you'd have a shared bathroom and common areas but private bedrooms.

Let me know if anyone is interested in this less expensive s/o option???

Blue Hole Pricing: $250 if we get 11 people it will be $230 per person. The refund will be issued back against your original payment once we get 11 paid people or can be used towards your dive tips. NOTE: Price is higher than last year's posted price as last year's price did not include sales tax, park fee, had a volume discount in it and did not include fuel surchgs. OTHER published prices are $300 for the same dives.

Unfortunately the $50 premier early discount did not get subtracted even though I put in the discount column.

Yes its dry...OR an optional dive day. Many people choose to dive it so its your choice. I think we have to have 4 to go.
