Its a small thing really. Takes about 5 seconds, does not hurt and well hopefully it makes a difference. Hopefully it shows that people care...they understand and most importantly...they really are thankful!
I'm talking about telling our men and women in uniform that you appreciate and and thankful for their service. That's it. A simple line said with a genuine smile... "Thank you for your service'.
When I see our men and women flying lord knows where (hopefully home to see loved ones) I always walk a bit out of my way to tell them that I am appreciative of what they do and the sacrafices they have made. Do I actually say all that? No I simply say "Thank you for your service" or "We want you to know your efforts are appreciated" or "Thank you for keeping our country Free".
And I hope they know that I mean a lot more.
So while its such a small thing...its actually VERY IMPORTANT!
Freedom is NOT FREE. And Those who fight for our freedom should know they are special and appreciated. And they are... SPECIAL AND APPRECIATED!
