Inventory Update:

We have 15 rooms for our Single's Week. That is up to 30 people. If we exceed it we should be able to get more, BUT signing up EARLY ensures you get a spot!

Booked so far.....
2 s/o = 2 rooms
11 d/o = 6 rooms (assuming DO for clkhdiver & Walks With Whales until we get Templates)

So, 15 - 8 = 7 rooms left for either s/o or d/o.


SO.....who else wants to come dive beautiful Bonaire with me & the Wench???

How does the shore diving package work, will there be a truck available to go to the dive sites? And is the truck included in the price, also, how many divers are doing just shore diving?

Hey George the shorediving pkg does not include a truck or vehicle. They are however available for rent at the hotel or airport upon arrival and if several people do the shorediving pkg then you'll have several people to split the truck cost rental with. Currently no one is signed up for shorediving only BUT usually if one person signs up for it...several follow. I hope you can join us! A number of divers are interested in classes on this trip.

Another alternative is to do the boat diving package, but a group of people will get together and rent a truck for the week so that they can go to other shore dive sites during the afternoon/evening, and visit more distant restaurants on the evenings we're on our own for dinner, and lastly so they can explore the island on the off-gassing day. Whether you rent for a day or for the week, I'm sure you'll be able to find others to help share the cost of the vehicle.

The best vehicle to rent is the dual-cab truck that seats 4, and it has tank racks build into the pickup bed. You can get tanks from the resort.

Word of warning: if you shore dive with a truck, leave NOTHING in the vehicle and keep the windows rolled down. The only real crime in Bonaire is the petty theft out of unattended diver vehicles. Bottles of water are probably safe, but nothing else is.

Hi,

I will be staying for a complete 2nd week. This is confirmed as I already paid my return plane ticket for March 17th. A roommate would be welcomed, as long as you don't snore and be a non-smoker.

My plans are: kayaking, touring, sleeping, à la carte diving (maybe some long-range expedition, maybe shore diving, maybe a technical course, all options are open and to be determined on site).

Also, I would like to meet divers doing the Truk Lagoon 2014 expedition.
