I get a lot of generic inquiries with either no title or something like Inquiry as the title and they often legit requests from people about our trips or our website. I also of course get numerous requests from people wanting me to help them get their money out of their country or buy something for them etc. You know...the full blown scam stuff that you have to wonder why ANYONE would fall for but somehow you know someone has to be falling for it or they would stop.

This one is the funniest one I've ever rec'd. I've bolded the parts that made me laugh so hard I almost cried. And of course having been born in Libya only shortly before Gaddafi overthrew the country...this is even funnier to me. So enjoy the preposterous nature of this plea for help and I hope you laugh as much as I did! Kamala

p.s. From one Libyan to my fellow Libyan below...he is not to be trusted...just in case you felt sorry for him and wanted to help.

I get them from time to time from Nigeria, but that's the first I've seen from Libya. Good one! I take it you didn't reply?!

Never reply! That only confirms they have a valid email, and then they'll sell it to all the other scammers.
