Not one to follow traditional lines, there will be a salad and roast with vegetables and gravy, pearled barley experiment is involved. Chocolate cream pie with whipped cream.

Jury is still out if there is to be a soup course this year.

The final activity will be the Flaunting of the Freezer Containers.

My wife and I are so diet constrained that we do not have a traditional Christmas dinner. It is usually a roast, salad and a veggie. No dessert. This year we are having New York steak, salad and a veggie.. and of course wine.. I guess the wine is a tradition. :-)

My family is basically thanksgiving over again. My aunt and uncle who our neighbors host Thanksgiving and my parents host Xmas dinner.

My aunt and uncle in San Francisco have a tradition of King Crab Legs on Xmas.

Growing up in an italian neighborhood, the feast of the 7 fishes was commong on Xmas eve. I miss that tradition.

Typical surface interval items.... animal crackers, pretzels, orange slices, water.

Visibility was only about 50 feet today, ---- about 75 degree F.

Lasagna, sausage, meatballs and stuffed artichokes, with Christmas cookies for dessert. It was the best lasagna I've had in my life, and coming from an Italian, that says something.
