An excellent suggestion. We'll discuss the feasibility of the idea. In the meantime, I hope others chime in with their thoughts on the topic.
Please post an intro in the New to SingleDivers.com forum. We'd love to get to know you.

I appreciate getting to know others better through PM's and was thinking that an instant messaging feature would be good - as opposed to a chat room. Or maybe several chat rooms....
Just thinking out loud....

no trees were harmed while posting any of my messages,
however a significant number of electrons were inconvenienced.

Doesn't "bling bling" mean something else?

That said, it would be fun... and another distraction from work ;-)

From what I have seen this site is still rather new and there are never tons of people on line at one time (at least not when I have been here). Anyway I thought it would be a great way to meet others you might never meet any other way especially if you are not into boards and forums.
I guess time will tell

well, so far, there are rarely more than 10 members online at any one time.I had thought about a chat room at one time, but may be difficult to have a discussion when you get a bazillion people online.
but i'm sure there are other reasons it would be a problem

And as the site expands we will definately have more people online; and I also think a chat room is a function most internet users are used too. Also, it might be a good way to engage some of the members who are not as active in the posts.
and send some of that bling bling this way!
