Follow up question. Cozumel, Whalesharks and Cenotes - is it all doable in one week, or will you be doing two weeks, or separate trips... thank you!

It will be one week. The schedule usually works out as 3 days of diving in Cozumel, Cenotes on the travel day to Holbox, and 2 days snorkelling with whalesharks.

There will most likely be a sister trip so people can make the most of thier airfare. (Either an extra week in Cozumel or Chinchorro/Xcalak) Otherwise you can certainly add on extra days in Coz if desired.

Hey Bogie,

How've you been? Just got back from Roatan and was already thinking about 2014. By coincidence I was looking heavily at this BOM trip and read through some of the old trip reports. The cenotes are scuba and the whale sharks are snorkeling. And btw, I've done cozumel three times, and if you have the time and money, it's definitely worth at least a couple of extras days. You can probably do 2 straight weeks there and not repeat a dive site! Just my 2 psi.

Hope to dive with you again soon!

Diving in the cenotes. 3-4 divers per group/guide. 75 degrees constant temp year round in the cenote so definitely full wetsuit territory.

Sounds great, thank you both!!! :) I'm spending too much time on SD Forums, it's about time to go diving again. My co-worker brought me an article about cenotes, and it's been sitting on my desk all day. Taunting me. Posted Image

Just wondering... So we fly in and out of Cozumel right ? If so how do we get back to the airport after Holbox? Should we book flights late in the day?
Thank you

Into Cozumel and out of Cancun. You'll travel from Holbox to Cancun in the morning of the last day to catch afternoon flights.

Actually....as of two days ago the Govt changed the tax rate so we had to make a change as well....

We are going to go in and out of Cozumel. Mexico has raised its taxes from 14% to 19% and I have price protected our pkg price but it means we go in and out of COZUMEL!!!

This trip will be open soon...I have just gotten back from our industry tradeshow and will open the trips up asap! kamala
