I was thinking of travel as well as local diving. I dive with a steel HP80 tank. I live in South Florida I know the 32# wing should be a pretty good travel wing as well as a solid wing to do local diving. The AL BP I was thinking because I though it might be too much weight with the SS BP and Steel tank as well. I have no problem getting my equipment through you.

You won't have too much weight with steel 80 and ss bp as long as you have a 32-35# wing. And of course you'll be set with all other types of diving you do.

If you don't wear that much neoprene the the alum bp is fine. Its on average about 3 pounds so only about 2-3 lbs difference.

There is a special on alum backplates and harnesses as well as the comfort harness that has soft padding and a place to add a plate when you desire it. The single tank adpt is built into it the design. Oh I almost forgot that the special extends to 32# wings and 45# wings.
