I had originally attached it to the package I sent single divers. I resent it to the EV email this morning, and they should have the form now.
Thanks Ben! We are a back up but I'm traveling so we really appreciate your sending it to the boat.

TANK UPDATE:
There are (3) cf100 tanks available for each trip. We would like to ensure that they are used by those who NEED them the most rather than just 'appreciating extra gas'.
So let us know who would like these for each trip and let us know if you are hard on air, really tall, etc. Thank you! kamala

Just sent $1000 for the extra days/internal flight. Will sort out the difference, I'm guessing at least a couple hundred dollars, once we have the final billing.

Any word on final bill?
Since we are still working on final rooming for extra days ....especially after the trip...and I will need most of my time online to get replies from those who do not have a set roomie for extra days ....I do not have the final bill. So plan for Dec 17th-18th. Thank you for your patience but all I can give you now is a guess. Except for Jennifer (because she is overseass) PLEASE do not send in partial payments ...it creates extra work for the accountant and she is ready to quit so not a good time to load her up. As soon as I have the final bill with xfers, extra nites etc. then I will send you each a final bill by the 18th. You will have plenty of time to pay and your payment will match your invoice and it will be easier for everyone. Thank you!

Hey Kamala,
Thanks for the info. Just knowing when the payment was going to be due by is a big help. No worries. Looking forward to a great trip!
Thanks

Since we have some time on San Cristobal, this might be a nice place for a short visit - (in English)
http://www.galapagos..._interpretacion
Even though Ecuador uses the US dollar for their currency, it's rare for any local business (or the Nat'l Park) to accept any bills larger than $20 bills.
No problem to pay the boat in large bills, otherwise the smaller bills are easier to spend.
Make sure any bills are not torn or dirty, as most will be rejected.
Ecuador also uses US coins, but they also have their own coins that are the same size and denomination as US coins.
I'm glad someone told me about this before my first trip to Galapagos, so I'll share the info with others.
Kamala, since you've made the trip twice now, (yes, I understand she doesn't return to wifi until after 17 Dec)
(1) please confirm the luggage limits on the domestic flights to/from Quito. Today I checked the Avianca website (they bought AeroGal airlines that makes the flights to/from Galapagos) and their website shows one free bag of 50lbs on these flights to/from Galapagos, but the current Explorer Ventures and Humboldt Explorer websites still say one suitcase 44lbs and one carry-on at 17.6lbs. (1a) Do they permit the third piece that is categorized as the personal item?
2) On the final departure from Ecuador (going home), is the international departure tax included in the price of the flight/ticket, or is it paid in cash at the airport? If paid locally, what is the current departure tax? There is conflicting information on the internet about this departure tax.
Thank you!
