I contacted the tour company Ed used yesterday and they emailed with all of the tours they provide and the vehicle sizes and prices. I'll forward the info to you Kamala. We can compare with what the hotel offers.

MizTee.... the info looks great and the pricing is VERY reasonable. We will need about 7-10 people from the info I saw but even if we have to divide the amt by less...it is CHEAP for what we are getting! So far something in the $20-$25 range for the tour. Even if that went up a few bucks...or even doubled.... for an entire day of touring...you can't beat it!

Actually, the tour of Ubud will cost less $15-20 per person. It is a full day so we will be leaving early in the morning from Bayside Bungalows in Candidasa. They are also flexible and we can add from a list of other sights or activities. It is important that we give a count so we need to find out how many people are up for a full day tour of Ubud and surrounding area on Oct. 11. This outfit has cars, vans and busses so they can meet all of our needs. Kamala, since you have a list of everyone on the trip and who's staying where, you may be better equipped to get the numbers. I'll make the contact and reservations once I'm there.

Also, they will take rupiahs or dollars but the price is better with rupiahs

I will not be arriving until the night before the tour, just after midnight, and will be at the Harris. I'll watch this thread for details as I won't see you until we meet up at the beginning of the tour. thanks!

Hi Catfish
This may not work for you since the Harris Hotel is near the airport and I believe the Bayside Bungalows is quite a distance away. Are others staying in the Harris before Wakatobi? If so, two separate vehicles may work better. Are you arriving just after midnight on the 11th?

Hi... Yes, I got here after midnight and am at the Harris. I think there are one or two others here, but I don't know who. I will contact the tour company on my own. See you tomorrow!

Siz peeps joined in to see Ubud and more of Bali! They should have an amazing tour. And two peeps decided to try and see the mola molas. Hopefully they get to see them!
