Flight DONE:  

 

JFK to MLE via DOH on Qatar Airlines lving Feb. 22   ARR: Feb 23 3:05 PM  will need 3 nights hotel, but can do the third one on my own if need be.

 

MLE to JFK via DOH on Qatar Airlines DEP Mar. 5 8:20 PM...... may need day hotel for this date.....

Am looking for a hotel and any other peeps staying overnight in Dubai on 2/23/17.

I booked my air too soon from  SFO.

Since then,  I see Singapore Air scheduled a nearly direct flt for way cheaper.

Oh  well.

Yeah... that happened to several other people as well. Emirates offered a new flight from FLL for less than Orlando as an introductory I guess. In any event... sometimes you get lucky and sometimes not so much. :wacky:

I'll  arr the PM of 3/2 & hv the 3/3rd & 4th to explore Dubai. 

I'm at the Arabian Park Hotel cuz it's easy to get to the "Hop on & off"  buses.

It says their hotel shuttle will also take me to Emirates terminal 3 for my (very) early AM flt to MLE on 3/5.

 

I land at 9:45 AM & hope to rendezvous w/ you all at your MLE hotel   -   so what's it called?

If I miss you,  see ya all at the dock.

Coming home,  I'll spend one PM at the Rose Rayhaan on 3/15 before flying hm the next AM from DXB.

  Finally made the reservations and arrive in Dubai on the 3/2 at 1930 hours.  Looking to find a hotel, will do that soon possible maybe the Arabian Park also.  I leave on the 4th to go to Male at 0940 hours.  Will need 1 night at the hotel in Male.  I leave Male on the 15th at 1955 hours.

I will be getting into DXB at 2pm on 3/3/17. Still deciding where to stay.Does anyone have any recommendations? If anyone would like to get together late afternoon/ early evening for sight seeing or dinning let me know. I leave for MlE on the 4th at 09:40. I will also be staying in DXB from 15-18th to explore.

lv2dive-run-ski...are you on flight 208 from JFK? I am...I have car service (included) up to one hour from DXB with my ticket, they may allow others to join me...(tips always make things happen ) and I have "one hour" of car service...so we may be able to take a quick tour of the city if anyone wants to join me...

I have reservation at Hilton Sharjah...just because I had Hilton points...

but would change if we all wanted to try to stay @ same hotel.... (Hilton or Marriott preferred, as I have points @ these)

 Thanks for the offer...we basically do the same thing and then post when relevant which is what we are doing now. I've posted the list of flight info as of Dec 24 and Traci the TC fort this trip will update when she returns from her New Year's diving trip!
