Hey Kamala, I was wondering if the place in Roatan has nitrox 100's. would like to try and get the big bottles or if they can fill the 80's to 4000? Just wondering.

The cash discount is APPLIED during check out. So it will show the credit price UNTIL choose to pay via echeck AND you enter your check info and then it will calculate the discount for you. In our current system you will get 2 emails...the first is an ORDER acknowledgement and the 2nd is a PAYMENT acknowledgement. If you do not get BOTH the payment did not transact. If you hit the back  button or enter payment info incorrectly it will generate an order acknowledgement but NO payment email not will it take any funds out of your account. Our new system will be more seamless and have everything included in one email but until then we just educate everyone on how it works.

 

Go ahead and try to sign up... oh and the order acknowledgement will show the full price of the trip even if you only do the deposit. It will SAY deposit but will show the full trip price. The PAYMENT email will show how much you paid i.e. the deposit amt.

 

We know it is not 100% intuitive but its a really great system for a dive club to have even with the quirks!!!!

While I am not certain of your exact questions I can reply to a few standard questions people have about these subjects. So here goes....

 

Rooming:

 

1. We guarantee a same gender roommate if you sign up at least 45 days before the trip or your single supplement is free. So if zou want to save money and do the double occupancy...go for it and we will find you a compatible same gender roommate.

2. No you do not have to supply your own roommate...we do that for you.

3. If you want to have a bit more privacy and want a single room...go for it. Its worth the $200 in my opinion.

4. If you do want us to find you a roommate, we do a very detailed rooming survey so look at smoking, ,snoring, room temp, sleep patterns, personalities etc.

5. If you happen to bring a friend and want to room with them...just tell us and we will room you both together as long as each of you request each other and you also do not have to do the rooming part of the documentation.

 

Dive Buddies

 

1. If zou bring a buddy with you then your friend will be your buddy if you want to be dive buddies.

2. If you have us supply a dive buddy we do a very detailed diving survey and look at air consumption, experience, speed of dive, water column placement, taking pics or not, etc.

3. We fine tune all buddy suggestions after the first dive or two so now worries there.

4. If it ok to chg dive buddies if you want...for any reason.... no one worries about it and its all good.

Are gloves allowed on this trip?

 

I will be renting fins, does that mean no diving booties - the same as in Bonaire? Please advise.

Correct! Marine park for the most part so no gloves.If you need them for sun protection or a mooring line...simply cut off the fingertips and they will protect the hands but with fingertips exposed the park will be happy too!

When you you are able to get a Nitrox list going, please put me down for Nitrox Tank with a DIN.  Miklyn is not certified yet for Nitrox and I hope to get her certified for it on the trip.
