If there is enough interest I'm willing to help WW organise a group diving trip to Belize. Boats and DMs to yourselves, and at cut rates. I can also help SD organise accomodations at anything from cheap to mega-expensive. Ideally out of the busy season here, so either a couple of weeks before Easter or well after - say mid May onwards. Can also organise inland jungle trips to see Mayan ruins, explore (not dive) long wet caves, etc.

It doesn't look like anyone showed an interest in Belize when this topic was started back in December?? Even if there's not enough interest as a group, I'd still like to go (soon) if there's anyone else interested in going.

I'd love to go, but my plate is pretty full for '05. I'm interested in a trip next year.

ALWAYS interested in Belize. However, with a trip to Cozumel in May and one to SoCal in July or August, I don't think I can this year. If it goes into next year, please keep me posted.

I posted a short report about my last trip to Belize back in Sept./Oct. I wouldn't mind going back to dive, but would be cautious about staying at or diving with Ramon's Village. While one of the nicer resorts, our group was quite disappointed with the service at the resort, and the dive shop.

Peter - what dive group/shop are you affiliated with?

Actually Belize may still be a possibility for 2005 and/or 2006. It depends on what happens with some of the destinations we are still trying to firm up. Anyone else interested???

p.s. Peter is not affiliated with any of the resorts/operators that SassyRabbit used.

Would definitely consider a trip to Belize in 06. Good place for a liveaboard.

I'd be very interested inthis trip as well, depending on the timing. SR- Peter's got a link to his op in his profile: ProtechBelize

Don't count on me for this trip, my blood bank says Belize is off limits (except Belize City) if I want to continue to donate blood.

Is that because of endemic malaria, dengue, or some other tropical fever or plague?
