I thought this would be a fun thread to find out what everyone's favorite Holiday movie is.

I have a few favorites which include

Miracle on 34th Street
White Christmas
A Christmas Carol - w/ Alistair Sims as Strooge

I also like these in the original classic verison of Black and White I hate the way they colorized a lot of the old movies...

So what's yours?

Can we add cartoons, or those half hour televison shows?

how i know its the holiday season is only by the ringing sound of "you'll shoot your eye out kid" coming from the living room of my parents house...i guess that would make my favorite "A Christmas Story"...not very classic, but modern classic i guess you could say.

My favorite too. It's so identifiable...especially the tongue freezing on the pole part. Growing up in Idaho and Montana, I saw more than one person do that on signs, bus windows and more....dar..... :D
It's Winter time - you know you're a diver when you're scraping ice off your windshield INSIDE your vehicle...!

I'd have to go with Rockhound. Not really classics in the normal sense of Christmas classics but definately 'A Christmas Story'........"the glow of electric sex gleaming in the window" and probably my second favorite 'A Charlie Brown Christmas'........."I never get what I really want for Christmas,.........Realestate!" :D

My personal favorite is Dr. Seuss' Grinch (the original, NOT that Jim Carrey abomination).

Just as an aside, my adorable little neice (absolutely the cutest child ever to grace the planet) is named Zuzu ... you know "every time a bell rings, ..."

Jexy she IS adorable! And I liked the new Hallmark special that aired this season with Gary Sinise. In fact....your neice looks like the little girl that played in the movie with Gary. :anna:
