This is an OLD habit from years ago. For some reason I started watching Amedeus over the holidays and again over New Years if I didn't have plans. So I end up watching this just about every year.... There is snow in the movie :wakawaka:

Aside from that, if I have to go with a holiday theme, it has to go with the Leg-Shaped-Lamp.

I'm also partial to the original Grinch but a close second would be "The Year Without a Santa Claus" with Heat Miser and Snow Miser. The song gets stuck in my head for days. Love it.
I tried to contain myself, but I escaped!

Gotta go with "Remember the Night" (Fred MacMurray and Barbara Stanwyck)--a B&W classic film written by Preston Sturges. Anybody here ever see it?

Also "The Gathering" made-for-TV with a solid cast: Edward Asner, Maureen Stapleton, Veronica Hamel, Gregory Harrison, Lawrence Pressman, John Randolph, Gail Strickland, Stephanie Zimbalist. Schmaltzy--just like you'd expect. :wakawaka:

The original "Miracle on 34th St", "White Christmas", and "It's a Wonderful Life". And agree with WileEDiver - "The Gathering" is a great new movie.

I enjoy watching all the old traditional 1/2 hour shows - Rudolph, Frosty, etc. But there's one movie every year that I make sure to see....National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. You just gotta love Aunt Bethany, Uncle Lewis, Cousin Eddy (and his RV) and the rest of the goofy gang.

Well since my favorite number is 46 and "It's A Wonderful Life" was made in 1946 there can be no question.

Just thought of one I hadn't seen in a while, but used to really enjoy - any one remember . . .

How could I forget that classic. Laurel & Hardy, Bo Peep, Barnaby and the PeeWee.

Thanks, Capt for the memory.
