Airport = Grand Bahamas Airport in Freeport Bahamas  so FPO

 

West End Northern Adventure departs from Freeport and explores the west end of Grand Bahama and continues south to Bimini, and Tiger Beach visits the remote areas around the West End of Grand Bahama and Tiger Beach which is frequented by Caribbean Reef Sharks, Lemon Sharks and Tiger Sharks.

Water temperature: 78-84F, 25-28C (summer months) 75–80F, 24-27C (winter months, with possible 72F, 22C drop in January)  
3-5 mm wetsuit recommended

There are multiple dives throughout the day and a night dive each evening for an average of up to 27 dives on 7 night charters and 42 on 10 night charters.    All dives are from the yacht.

 

Tiger Beach Dive Sites

Mount Olympus: The top of the reef is 45-50 feet, down one side you reach the sand around 95 feet, down the other side it just keep going creating a wonderful wall. Guests could spend all day diving this area and never cover all of Mount Olympus.

Mini Wall: This dive site has two mounds running side by side with a small patch of white sand between these mounds covered with marine life. The first of the coral mounds starts around 35 feet and slopes down to around 70 feet. The second mound starts around 40 feet and slopes to about 85 feet. Both mounds as they slope give the look of a small wall.

Hog Fish: A shallow dive ranging from 30-45 feet. As you swim along Hogfish Reef you will notice lots of crevices and ledges to look under for small creatures. A garden of soft corals with hard corals covers the top and schools of Grunts, Snappers, Chromis and Angelfish cover the reef. Swimming in the sandy areas just off the reef are large and small Hogfish.

Shark Paradise: This beautiful reef received its name from the different types of sharks you can find here at any given time. While enjoying the marine life covering Shark Paradise we have seen, Nurse, Caribbean and Lemon Sharks. Once in a while we even get a beautiful Tiger Shark in the area.

Fishtail: Is located just to the south of Shark Paradise. Due to its location we sometimes get a chance to see a shark while diving the beautiful reef which is covered with Gorgonians, Yellow Sea Whips, Sea Plumes, Orange Spiny Sea Rods and Sea Fans. When you can add a mix of hard corals and a variety of lots of tropical fish you have the perfect spot to enjoy.

Sugar Wreck: This is one of the crew members favorite shallow sites. During the late 1800's a barge carrying molasses sank in 18-20 feet of water in the middle of nowhere on the Little Bahama Bank. Soon fish and other marine life found this to be a great hiding place and soon the wreck was covered with marine life. At any given time we can find the resident Green Moray Eel, or Nurse Shark and everyone's favorite, the Hawksbill Turtle that comes up close for pictures and video.

El Dorado: Starting in 40 feet and sloping towards a sandy bottom around 70 feet, guests will enjoy seeing Lobsters, huge Channel Clinging Crabs, Banded Coral Shrimp and schools of fish. At night Octopus, Squid, Turtles resting, Eels swimming out in the open and an array of hard and soft Corals are seen.

El Captainan: A huge underwater mound that is covered with Gorgonians and hard corals. Just off to the side are two large pinnacles. The top of the main mound starts around 45-50 feet and the bottom 90 feet. You can easily follow schools of fish or stay in one small area and look for lots of macro and small animal life.

Tiger Beach: A beautiful beach area that sits in 15 feet of water. There’s a white sandy bottom that seems to always have Sharks. Most of the Sharks seen are Lemon Sharks ranging from 4-7 feet in length. Also seen are Caribbean Reef Sharks, Nurse Sharks and Tiger Sharks.

Getting There, Passports & Visa Documentation

The Commonwealth of The Bahamas consists of 700 islands and nearly 2,500 cays. About 30 of these islands are inhabited. The capital city of Nassau is located on New Providence Island. Close by is Paradise Island which is accessed by bridges from Nassau. The closest island to the U.S. is Bimini, about 55 miles off the coast of Florida. 
Many major airlines fly into Nassau: American Airlines, Air Tran, Bahamas Air, British Airways, Delta, Jet Blue, Spirit, United, US Airways. There are many direct flights from the US and several connecting flights through the US gateway cities of Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Atlanta.
Visitors must have a current passport, adequate funds to support themselves, and a return airline ticket. US citizens require a passport that must be valid for 6 months from date of entry. It is the travelers’ responsibility to ensure they have the proper visa to travel into each country on his or her itinerary as well as for re-entry and return to their country. Since regulations vary by country, contact your consulate or embassy of your country for the requirement.
 

Arrival / Boarding / Departure for Nassau

The BAHAMAS AGGRESSOR® liveaboard boat departs for scuba diving from Elizabeth on Bay Marina in downtown Nassau, a short ride from Nassau International Airport (NAS). Your return is greatly simplified with US Customs and Immigration Pre-Clearance services at the Nassau International Airport. All flights originating out of Nassau and arriving in the USA arrive as a domestic flight. This in turn allows travelers to have normal "domestic" connection times instead of extended "international" connection times.
Guests arriving into Nassau (NAS) International Airport on Saturday will first clear customs then proceed to the taxi stand located just outside the terminal building. A fixed fare taxi can be secured to take you to “Elizabeth on Bay Marketplace and Marina” in downtown. Guests may board the BAHAMAS AGGRESSOR® after 4 pm on Saturday. At 6 pm the yacht departs for its night anchorage to prepare for diving Sunday morning. After a full week of diving, the BAHAMAS AGGRESSOR™ returns to the Elizabeth on Bay dock in Nassau Friday afternoon after lunch (1 dive offered Friday). Check-out is Saturday morning at 8 am. The crew will assist organizing transportation back to the Nassau International Airport Saturday morning or a local hotel if you are extending your stay.
 

Arrival, Boarding, & Departure for Freeport

The BAHAMAS AGGRESSOR™ will dock in and out of Old Bahama Bay Resort, Old Bahama Bay. Guests will fly in and out of Grand Bahama International Airport, (airport code is FPO). It is a 30 to 45 minute taxi ride to Old Bahama Bay and approx. $75. Transfers are not included. 

Flights: There are direct flights from Atlanta, Georgia; Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; and Miami, Florida to the Grand Bahama International Airport (FPO).

Duration: We offer 6 night and 7 night trips. Boarding is at 4 pm and the yacht departs for its first anchorage at 6 pm so everyone must be onboard. Check out is at 8 am. Dinner is not included the last night of the trip, however, there is a restaurant at Old Bahama Bay resort.
 

  Local Fees/Taxes

Port fees for 7-nights is $110 and $158 for 10-nights. All fees are paid onboard at the end of the charter. Transfers are not included in the charter price. Taxes and fees paid onboard the yacht are subject to change without notice.

ISSUE #1:

 

I have no idea when I can really open this trip with cv19 but I may go for it and give really long timelines for codes. The payment dates are already fairly long. Looks like this has to get opened REALLY soon. PAM FOR GETTING ME GOING ON THIS AGAIN. 

 

ISSUE #2

 

Because there is no way I can sell this full boat I WILL cut the spots back pretty drastically due to lack of interest and cv19.   AGGRESSOR IS GIVING ME TIL EARLY JULY TO DECIDE. SO WE WILL OPEN SOONER WITH FULL INV AND THEN CUT BACK after we see how few people sign up.

I have to get topics ready asap and of course open so will try to get that completed later today/evening.

 

ISSUE #4:

 

I just looked at the contract again and notice the prices are retail and in the pricing post I revised them down to try and sell the spots. Not sure when I did that...so most likely started at full retail and then revised it down later. EITHER WAY...I'M SORRY THAT THE PRICES ARE NOT CORRECT SO THAT MEANS HIKA IS NOT CORRECT.

I will fix the codes... GOOD CATCH. There is only D/O and Quad. No s/o unless asked for and we will do a payment upgrade vs a HIKA sku.  The s/o price is 65% higher than the RETAIL price so they could pay s/o for 2 bunks in the Quad and they could pay for s/o cabin of 1.65% on the $3095 price.  We can set them up as add on's they pay for vs sku. If anyone pays for it then we have to adj the inv. to reflect a spot gone. I hope that makes sense.
