So, British Airways isn't even answering calls unless your travel is within 72 hours, then they provide a different number to call. Their voice message tells how to submit for a voucher online and then hangs up. So I have no option but to submit for a voucher for my flights. The voucher is good for 1 year form the first date of travel so I wouldn't be able to do next June anyways.

 

I'm okay with any of the Oct dates.

Thank you. At least you got a year. HOWEVER if you can check the voucher should be good for year but does it ALSO say you have to complete travel within a year from your original dates as well?  If not you will have more flexibility.

 

British Airways: About your voucher

Your voucher can be used as payment for a future booking to any destination, on any chosen dates. If your new booking is more expensive, you will need to pay the difference. If it is less than your original booking, you will receive a voucher for the difference, which you can put towards another travel booking. Your voucher will be valid for travel within 12 months from your original departure date.

Any of the dates you mentioned currently work for me. The only other trip I currently have booked is June 2020 (and that’s even iffy). So my vote will remain with what is best for the club.

The June date is 2021 not 2020...does that change your input? Or do you have plans for next June?

October is still the best. Priority 1 is getting it rebooked and not lose our money as our insurance wont help. I do not want to fly in May really even if they open it.

Yes I agree. That is why I have been working so hard to create contingencies. We still have to wait and see what happens. As soon as I know anything I will let you know. I promise.
