OUR POLICY REGARDING CV19 CANCELLATIONS AND RESCHEDULING ETC:
As a dive club that survives on the tiny membership fee we charge (most of which we give back via member rebates after trips) and as the liaison between you and the operator we can only do what the operator will permit and/or can be persuaded to do. (Our greatest benefit is having enough clout to do well for our members in the persuasion realm.) As the virus keeps the US and the world shut down the situation regarding trips remains fluid. We stay on top of that information and because much of what we have done for our members may not be what they have done for others...we do not publish it and we hope you can appreciate and understand why. However we invite you to contact us directly at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us at 864-557-6079 and we will be happy to let you know what the policies are by resort or operator relative to our trip with them. We commit to work as hard for you as we would for ourselves and we have been doing that consistently since March when this broke out. And finally we ask that you understand that every operator is different and they offer different levels of service. We strive to bring you only the best in class DIVING operators for our trips but everything they can do is tempered by the realities of how many employees they need to feed month after month without laying them off or the bills they have to pay with no revenue coming in.The operators have made herculean efforts to assist everyone despite all the odds being against them and being forced to accept responsibility for countries that shut down, diver preparedness or lack thereof and of course their own employees and operations so that they will be around when we all make it thru this.
For those members that purchased trip insurance prior to cv19 breaking out your options are many. For those who purchased it shortly after the timeframe of the virus being named a virus i.e Jan 23, 2020 the operators have had more leniency for you. For those who choose to 'self insure' your options are the most limited but there are still a number of options including full group rescheduling of your trip. Thus far we have successfully rescheduled all our group trips and events since March as well as helped many individual members with their specific trip issues.

Certain airlines are waiving their change or cancellation fees and implementing enhanced safety measures due to COVID-19. Confirm terms and policies on their site.
