UPDATE FOR KAMALA (but affects the trip going forward)

 

I have just confirmed the increase of rooms from 10 to 15. Will eval Nov 15 if we drop any or add any more.

 

REVISED INVENTORY:

 

NOW 15 rooms broken down as follows:

 

12  d/o diver spots = 6 rooms

6 s/o diver spots = 6 rooms

2 non diver spots d/o = 1 room

1 non diver single = 1 room

 

HIDDEN:  1 room

 

NOTE: No inv will be changed at this time. I just note it so we can say spots are selling fast and inv is decreasing and if we sell a bunch more spots then we can add from my private inv that I know I have.

 

NOTE #2: Showing too many spots is a disincentive to selling more spots. Limited inv makes people take action.

NOTE: There will be NO Bull shark add on for the July Trip. There will be a WHALE SHARK add on but I have to confirm pricing and details which may take a while. PLEASE DO NOT SHOW THIS AS AVAIL FOR PURSCHASE YET

 

As soon as I have it I will update this. Same for the extra nights.

Thanks for fixing the links Butch and making the trip table live. I had the issue of the #1 topic being too big and could not post. I finally moved some content to a 2nd post and it worked.

When you get time (yeah I know that is so precious and scarce) can you add the add'l classes that we offered in Jan. Surprisingly I just got an email asking if we were offering them.  Thank you!

I think all of the courses are listed - they may have to look down on the second page of add-ons or display more than 20:

Wonder is we can do a no charge item that shows up on the last line in the last spot that is visible on the first page saying   KEEP LOOKING BELOW for more add on's or something like that?

Kamala this is getting a bit into the weeds. If a member is not clever enough once they find the Add On items to scroll down and ensure they see everything, do you think they possess the situational awareness to be a competent diver?

 

Solution B: Stop cramming so much into the Add Ons, they get more confusing the more plentiful they become. No more than five or six would be my recommendation. Yes I realize the course offerings are what causes the excess on the CZM trips. IMO they belong as part of a separate category than Add Ons, particularly since most experienced divers already have at least an Open Water cert, usually several plus dives logged. (yes sarcasm here.) If we are going to offer courses it should be through a separate pipeline, "Single Divers dot com for Aspiring Divers School" or whatever.

Looks like I had missed adding the payment and active duty military options to this trip (they were there just not visible on the booking screen).  Joe Sandusky aka guitaristdiver was trying to book and use the deposit but it wasn't there (he had my info from the NC trip and sent a message about it).  All fixed now and he's booking it now.
