Thanks Butch. When I set this topic up there was a price increase. I worked to absorb it to help open the trip faster so forgot to update it in the first post. It is correct now and matches the actual trip price. Thank you!

I had Steven aka squishy go through the posts for the trip and he found 2 add-ons with incorrect $ amounts and a few typos  (all add-ons $ amounts corrected in joomla for booking and typos in posts have been fixed):

 

In the forum (#1), there is a cash discount listed for trip add-ons.  On the booking page, the discount for add-ons is not mentioned. (Butch note - no easy way to change this since space is limited and #1 post is linked for more details)

 

The rental price for the TG-6 is different between the booking page and the forum (#1) ($31 and $26 respectively).

 

The price for Peak Performance Bouyancy or Wreck Specialty is different between the booking page and the forum (#1) ($129 and $155 respectively).

 

The word Buoyancy appears misspelled as Buoyancy on both the booking page and forum (#1).

 

Forum #1:

• FaceBook should be spelled Facebook
• "i.e" should be '".e."
• "its a super fun way" should be "it's a super fun way"
• I believe "self ensuring" should be "self insuring"
• I believe "An online credit card transaction that eliminates the need to fill to fill our a credit card authorization form." should read as "An online credit card transaction that eliminates the need to fill out a credit card authorization form."
• "zip code" is two words
• "When its time" should read "When it's time"

Forum 2:

• "Glossary" is misspelled as "Glosssary"
• "which save ou money" should read "which save you money"

Forum 3:

• "Topic" misspelled as "Tooic"

 

He also pointed out typos in the glossary and FAQ's (all have been fixed).

2. I knew there were issues with the #4 topic and the #1 topic pricing on add on's. Were these fixed? I had asked Brad for help with them. Or are you saying the errors were in the booking system and are now fixed?
3. This seems to be a great use of Steven!  When you are comfortable you can give him editing rights and he can just fix things. Lord knows I do not have time and obviously its not my forte!

Just finished synchronizing Topic #1 prices into Topic #4. In addition to highlighted text above I did not find a mention of the Bull Shark Dive Add On in Topic #1, while it is in Topic #4:

Day trip with the BULL SHARKS Dives approx $185 FULL PRICE no minimum.  TBD  (etc etc details follow)

I will watch for Kamala's response to the checklist in this post then will review Topic #4 again to sync up pricing after Topic #1 is updated.

#1 is correct so #4 needs to be updated - I recommend not listing prices on #4 to make it easier.

 

I'm heading to Houston to watch the Astros play so won't be available the rest of the day (also at tomorrows game and it's at 1 pm so unavailable most of tomorrow).

UPDATE FOR KAMALA (but affects the trip going forward)

 

I have just confirmed the increase of rooms from 10 to 15. Will eval Nov 15 if we drop any or add any more.

 

REVISED INVENTORY:

 

NOW 15 rooms broken down as follows:

 

8 d/o diver spots  = 4 rooms

4 s/o diver spots = 4 rooms

2 d/o NON diver spots = 1 room

+

6 room HIDDEN

=15 rooms total

 

NOTE: No inv will be changed at this time. I just note it so we can say spots are selling fast and inv is decreasing and if we sell a bunch more spots then we can add from my private inv that I know I have.

 

NOTE #2: Showing too many spots is a disincentive to selling more spots. Limited inv makes people take action.
